Publication of Images
We welcome contact from the media for requests for permission to publish images.
A request to publish an image should be made by telephone, e-mail or letter (with contact details and nature of publication) quoting the photograph reference number/s. Use of images for publication in the media is governed by a ‘Licence to Use’ agreement and unless by special prior arrangement, generally a fee will be payable.
Credit should be given to ‘Laplow Imaging’ on publication of an image immediately adjacent to or on the published photograph/s as per the Copyright, Designs and Patents Act 1988 (or any amendment or re-enactment thereof).
The Photographers assert their statutory right to be identified in the circumstances set out in Sections 77-79 of the Copyright, Designs and Patents Act (or any re-enactment thereof). This credit should be in the form of 'Laplow Imaging'. 'Contributed' will not suffice.
Photographs should not be edited, cropped or electronically manipulated, unless by prior agreement.
Photographs should only be stored electronically for the sole purpose of the intended publication and/or for the duration of the ‘Licence to Use’ agreement.
Once published, all files/photographs should be deleted/destroyed if/when not required. Photographs should not be distributed to third parties without prior written permission.
Use of images is subject to a Licence to Use, which will be issued at the time images are released for a specified purpose.
The entire copyright in the Photographs is retained by the Photographers at all times throughout the world.
